FrameIntent
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
FrameIntent is designed to work locally on your device.
No automatic upload or tracking
FrameIntent does not require an account. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking. The app does not upload your projects, reference photos, notes, or exports to a FrameIntent service.
Data stored on your device
FrameIntent stores project titles, aspect ratios, timestamps, revisions, storyboard notes, frame details, reference photos and thumbnails, integrity details, motion and camera cues, and action notes locally on your device so you can return to and edit your work. This local app data may be included in Apple device backups according to the backup settings you choose.
Camera permission
FrameIntent asks for camera permission only when you choose to capture a reference photo. The camera is used to take that photo for your storyboard project. You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings.
Exports and deletion
FrameIntent does not upload project files to a FrameIntent service. Apple may copy local app data into device backups according to your backup settings. Files also leave the app when you choose to share or save an export. After you share a copy, the receiving app, service, or person handles that copy under its own practices.
Deleting a project removes its local app copy, including its frames, notes, and reference photos. It does not remove copies you have shared or copies retained in Apple device backups. Projects otherwise remain until you delete them or remove the app. FrameIntent has no account and does not automatically receive or retain your project data. A copy you voluntarily send to support is handled as described below.
Support
For help, email frameintent.feedback@gmail.com or visit the FrameIntent support page. If you contact support, the developer receives the information you choose to send. Do not include private photos or storyboard notes unless they are necessary to explain the issue. Support messages and attachments may remain in the support mailbox so the developer can respond and follow up. You can request deletion of those email messages and attachments by emailing the same address.
The support page also links to public GitHub issues. Posting an issue requires a GitHub account. Issue contents are public and are handled by GitHub under its own practices; an email deletion request does not remove a public GitHub issue.
